A Single-Lens Reflex camera. It has a chrome-plated plastic body with leather covering, Flashbar socket for flash, auto flash exposure based on focus distance and has a maximum flash distance of 20 ft. Accessory electronic flashes are available. These is a socket for electronic remote shutter release. I also have the Polaroid 111 tripod mount.

This was the first camera to use Polaroid integral print films and the first production SLR with a folding body.

There are 3 minor variations of this camera: First year production models have a plain ground glass focusing screen; no focus scale. Later models, like mine, have split-image rangefinder circle and no focus scale. Still later models have split-image RF circle and focus scale.

A landmark camera in the history of photography.
I love this camera.
