One of the most classic cameras ever built. A completely manual SLR. Through the lens CdS exposure meter. ISO of 20 to 3200. X contact hot shoe for cordless flash connection. X Flash sync at 1/60sec. There were so many k-1000's made that the dies wore out and it didn't make financial sense for pentax to create new ones. I have dropped this rugged camera more than once and it keeps going. My camera currently needs lubrication as the shutter can stick in cold weather. I have taken more pictures with this camera than with any other.
